Hello everyone!
I saw this tag on The Book Llama and thought it would be interesting to do it! I deleted a few questions since I live in France and I didn’t know what some of the questions where about. Here we go!
Bookmark or dog-ear?
Well I like bookmarks better because it gets really confusing with all the dog-ears. Though I occasionally dog-ear books if there is a special chapter or page I particularly enjoy.
Alphabetize by author, or alphabetize by title, or random?
Random really. I do it more by size and color, I’m more about the visual effect than the organized side.
Keep, throw away, or sell?
Keep mostly! I want to sell some but I never find the courage and my mom taught me to NEVER throw a book away. And my mother is kind of like my god so we should all listen to her.
Keep dust jacket or toss it?
Again, please DON’T toss it! Also I’m too lazy to clean the dust.
Short story or novel?
I would say novel because I always want more.
Stop reading when tired or at chapter breaks?
Chapter breaks, because then it’s all very confusing. And when I reach a new chapter it always feels like a small victory.
“It was a dark and stormy night” or “Once upon a time”?
I prefer “Once upon a time”, there’s nothing like hearing those words.
Buy or borrow?
It honestly depends on money but I obviously like owning the books.
Buying choice: book reviews, recommendations, or browse?
Book reviews.
Tidy ending or cliffhanger?
Tidy end for my sanity’s sake.
Morning reading, afternoon reading, or nighttime reading?
Morning and nighttime, when the world stops and everything is quiet.
Stand-alone or series?
It really depends on the story, but I’m a believer in duologies.
Favorite series?
Just One Day series by Gayle Forman and Anna and the French Kiss series by Stephanie Perkins
Favorite children’s book?
The Witches by Roald Dahl, I was crazy about it and would read it as much as I could. I still do
Favorite YA book?
I have so many to chose from! Just One Day by Gayle Forman and Isla and the Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins
Favorite book of which nobody else has heard?
To my shame, I read kind of well-known, popular books.
Favorite books read last year?
Just One Day (you guessed it by now, it IS MY FAVORITE) and To All The Boys I’vee Loved Before by Jenny Han.

What are you reading right now?
Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo, I only began but it has one of the highest ratings on Goodreads!!
What are you reading next?
Hopefully the Harry Potter series (I still haven’t finished them, I know shame on me) or The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson.

The Witches by Roald Dahl?
Favorite book to re-read?
I don’t re-read books! I mostly re-read a few passages I enjoyed or famous quotes but not the book entirely!
Do you ever smell books?
Sometimes? But it is not a hobbie, no.
Do you ever read primary source documents like letters or diaries?
Of course! I LOVE LETTERS. (and diaries)
