Top 5 Tuesday – Top Fantasy

Hello everyone! I’m back for another TTT hosted by  Shannah @Bionic Bookworm (go check out her amazing blog!!) but I’m only doing 5 favourites because Fantasy is a genre I recently started getting into! I went on Goodreads and checked that these books are indeed Fantasy! Enjoy! 🙂

Harry Potter series by J.K Rowling

(Have some tea every time I feature a Harry Potter book or character in a tag haha). I think the series speaks for itself, right?

A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas

Sarah J. Mass is the Fae queen. Honestly, her series deserves to be as known and praised as the Harry Potter books. Her ability to build worlds, the depths of her characters and the way she weaves her stories and pulls at our heartstrings makes Sarah J. Mass one of the best authors ever. Go read the series if you haven’t yet.

Six of Crows Duology by Leigh Bardugo

I fell in love with ALL of Leigh Bardugo’s characters. I didn’t read the previous books in the Grishaverse but it didn’t stop me from enjoying that universe. I love heists and this one was exceptionally executed. It was deep, fun, dangerous, funny and I loved every page!

“No mourners. No funerals. Among them, it passed for ‘good luck.”
Leigh Bardugo, Six of Crows

Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins

I read the series after I saw “Catching Fire” (second movie and booktrilogyrilogie just blew my mind! I think the concept is very clever and it offers us a reflection on society and entertainment. A Must Read!

Lux series by Jennifer L. Armentrout

I recently picked up the series again and I love it even more now! I loved the fact that it was about aliens and that Katy is a huge bookworm and even has a book blog! I can relate!

Do you agree with my list? What are your favourite Fantasy books? Let me know in the comments! 🙂
