Top 5 Tuesday – Books Beginning With A – B – C – D – E

Hello everyone!!

I’m back for a TOP 5 TUESDAY hosted by Shannah @Bionic Bookworm Blog (go check out her blog; it’s amazing!). So this month we’re doing letters instead of topics and I really like the idea so thank you Shannah! Here we goooo.

 

Letter A – 

I feature the  “A Court of Thorns and Roses” series by Srah J. Maas constantly but it’s honestly so good that everyone should read it! It starts as a retelling of Beauty and The Beast but with a Fae twist! The world-building and characters are sooo good!

 

Letter B- 

 

I’m currently audio-booking Becoming by Michelle Obama and I LOVE IT! It’s so interesting to read her opinion on things and how every memory, detail, feeling means something and has a purpose; she’s an incredible person and a great storyteller!

Letter C-

 

Cinder by Marissa Meyer. Who doesn’t like a good retelling of Cinderella?! A Cyborg, a Charming Prince,  a wicked step-mother and a final revelation. This book holds its promise and has elements of the actual fairytale with its personal twist and modern touches. I have yet to read the following books in the series, which are also retellings of fairytales.

 

Letter D-

 

Divergent by Veronica Roth. I adored the first book and when the movie came out I had a mental breakdown because it was so good and I just needed more. The first book was incredible but I did not enjoy the following books as much. Still very entertaining characters and concept.

Letter E-

 

Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon is something else. It’s very unique and beautiful.  It’s about 17-year-old Madeline “Maddy”, a mixed girl with a rare disease which makes her allergic to the world. She has never been out of the house and doesn’t wish to go out until she meets her new neighbour Olly. This book is so sweet and cute. it has been adapted into a film with my all-time crush: Nick Robinson! See my review here.
