Hello lovelies!
I saw this tag on Instagram and I thought it would be nice to do it on here! Let’s get started!
- Have you ever lied about reading a book?
- Have you ever borrowed a book and not returned it?
- Have you ever read a series out of order?
- Have you ever dog-eared a page?
- Have you ever told someone you don’t own a book when you do?
- Have you ever spoiled a book for someone?
- Have you ever skipped a chapter or section of a book?
Have you ever lied about reading a book?
I used to do at a lot when I was younger because there were so many popular books I had not read yet. But now, I have come to terms that I cannot read them all but I can do my best. I also do not feel any shame about not reading certain books so that’s good too.
Have you ever borrowed a book and not returned it?
I never thought I’d be that kind of person but I sadly am… But I have also lent a book that was not given back to me…
Have you ever read a series out of order?
No? However, I accidentally read the second book of a series because I thought it was a stand-alone but I never picked up the first book or the other ones for that matter.
Have you ever dog-eared a page?
I do!! But that means I don’t really like the book but that some parts are interesting. Also when they are studious, school reads I dog-ear the page as I try to motivate myself to read sections of the book.
Have you ever told someone you don’t own a book when you do?
I did it once because I really did not want to lend it to the person but now I have no problem lending my books to anyone.
Have you ever spoiled a book for someone?
I think I did it accidentally once but I would never do it on purpose; that is just cruel.
Have you ever skipped a chapter or section of a book?
I used to feel guilty about doing that but I have come to realize that there are so many great books out there and that I should not waste my time with mediocre ones. Since I am curious as dar as the storyline goes, I will only read dialogues until I am satisfied.
That’s it folks! Hope you enjoyed!
