Hello lovelies!
I hope you are all well and safe. Being quarantined is starting to be a little hard but I am so grateful for everything I have and the conditions I am being quarantined in. One of the highlight of my quarantine has definitely been my free time, and by free time, I mean reading time. I had an amazing reading month, not necessarily in terms of quantity but certainly in terms of quality.
BOOKS I’VE READ
- Daisy Jones and the Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid (reread)
- A Curse so Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer
- A Heart So Fierce and Broken by Brigid Kemmerer
- My Oxford Year by Julia Whelan
- Heir of Fire by Sarah J. Maas (favourite book of the month)
- The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Éxupéry
- Garden of Eden by Ernest Hemingway
- Matilda by Real Dahl
TV SHOWS
My father recently got Netflix and he shared his account with me. You bet I spent days bingewatching TV shows. I was lucky that several seasons where available for these shows. I even stopped reading for a while because I couldn’t stop watching these shows. The first show I watched was Élite and it was a wonderful surprise!! I finished the three seasons in less than four days. I even started learning Spanish because of this show. Also, why are the actors all so attractive? What kind of sorcery is this?
Then I watched the entirety of La Casa De Papel (or Money Heist in English). Everyone was talking about it and I wanted to see what the hype was about. Let me tell you. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED. If there is one thing you need to know about me is that I love heists. The planning and skills that go into them fascinate me, especially when the heist succeeds. I loved the cast, the characters, the concept, the heists in themselves. It was wonderful. I watched the entire second season in a day and my eyes were burning after that but it was so worth it.
What were your April favorites? Let me know in the comments! 🙂
