Hello lovelies!
This is my birthday week and I couldn’t be happier. It also snowed where I live today (which hasn’t happened in years) so my sister and I went out in the snow and played around a little. This week is also romance week and I thought I’d do a book tag today because I haven’t done those in a while and what better way to celebrate romance week than doing a tag by the queen of love songs herself, Taylor Swift?
Thank you so much for tagging me and making this wonderful book tag Ahaana’s at Windows to Worlds! It’s so original! Ahanna writes the most wonderful book reviews and she’s genuinely the nicest human being. The design of her blog is also stunning! Go check out her blog if you don’t know her already 🥰. Thank you again for tagging me in your original tag and so sorry for doing it nearly two months later!

I don’t know why but I love Bryce Quinlan so so much, I love how loving and so unapologetically herself she is. I can’t help but love her.

This book broke my heart because the two main female protagonists were incredibly close in the first book which I loved but in this one there were so many conflicts between them and it broke my heart.

There are so many reasons why I love this book but one of the few is because if the autism rep and also Black girl rep! I’m so happy that there are so many *diverse* books out there and I couldn’t be happier.

I feel like Aelin’s whole ARC is to reconnect with her family and her hometown. And she comes to term with who she is in Heir of Fire.

Do Luc and Addie have a relationship? Debatable but Addie suffers from it.

I’m slowly making my way into thrillers and this one is the first one I ever read and I loved it! I liked the friendships and how all of the characters had their own subplots. Such a great book.

The Selection series. I love love love these series but I have noticed a shift in my reading taste and I don’t know if I would like the series now as much as I did. Put I see this series as a comfort series and I’m happy I read it when I was 16.

This book is so wonderful is so many ways but one of them is the importance of friendship between Henry and Alex’s own circles. It was so beautiful when everyone came together for that iconic karaoke scene. I love them;

Someone had recommended this book to me and I absolutely did not expect this; I cried for 15 minutes straight as soon as I finished this book. I still don’t know if I love it or hate it.

I don’t read a lot of classics, especially not French ones but when we saw the trailer in class of the movie adapatation of the movie with Robert Pattinson (everyone has their reasons to read classics) I knew I wanted to read this book. It turns out that it was a pleasant surprise. This book was funny, full of irony, manipulation and greed. I loved it!

Oops, second time mentionning Six of Crows but my babies deserve it. I love them so much.

I was obsessed with Roald Dahl as a child, Really really obsessed. My favourite is The Witches and I used to bring it everywhere with me (my copy of the book is proof) and I made everyone read it. Such a wonderful book.

This book should come with so many trigger warnings. Reading this story was a little bit of a shock. This book is raw, important and a tearjerker. I love how the author focused on the subject of loneliness and the way it kills us.

Crescent City 2. I NEED THE NEXT BOOK. What was that cliffhanger??

I started reading the Lux series a while ago and I finished reading it last month and it was a beautiful conclusion to the series. I think everything wrapped up beautifully and I’m very satisfied with the way the characters were left. I trust them to live off on their own now.

Ooh, happy birthday! And I’m so glad that you got snow where you live, that’s awesome! Snow’s always fun. Aaah, I totally agree with the broken friendships in CVV it was so sad to see Zelie and Amari grow apart. I’m curious to see what happens in the next book because wow that cliffhanger…

No worries! Yes? I love snow! 🥰
Yes it was so sad to see and I hate Amari’s character development because she is my favourite character of the series 😭 I hope the author gives her a redemption arc so my heart can finally be at peace 😂

Yeah, Amari’s just so…well, in the first book she was just so sweet and then she became stronger and such but yeah it’s sad that she became so…different. Hopefully she’ll change.
