I have so many series I need to finish especially since I have the luxury of not waiting for them to be published! So I’m hoping to finish Allemagne of these books as soon as I can! There is also something about bingereading a series and the satisfaction that ensues…It also allows me to remember characters and previous events rather than confusingly staring at the page and wondering “wait, who is this?.
The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater
The first book was so different from what I expected but I liked how it took its time to introduce the characters and the whole plot. This makes me excited to see how the whole group dynamic will evolve.
Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas
I am so hopeful I will finish this by the end of the year but I still have Tower of Dawn and Kingdom of Ash and these books are beasts.
Caraval series by Stephanie Garber
Currently reading Finale via audiobook so I might finish this in 2020! Fingers crossed!!
The Poppy War trilogy by R.F Kuang
I’m hoping to start the first book this month and hopefully bingeread the series as quickly as I can; who knows?
King of Scars duology by Leigh Bardugo
I read the whole Shadow and Bone trilogy just for Nikolai haha so I can’t wait to read this series especially since the last book comes out next year.
The Illuminae files by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff
I have read Illuminae at least three years ago and loved it but I was extremely disappointed by Gemina so I don’t know if I should reread the first two books or just read Obsidio and get it over with. Dilemma, dilemma.
What series are you hoping to finish soon? Let me know in the comments!
Here’s my weekly Top 5 Tuesday hosted by the wonderful Shannah @Bionic Bookworm Blog (go check out her blog; it’s amazing!). This week will feature (as the title suggets) my Top 5 covers of 2019. You know the saying “don’t judge a book by its cover”? Well ,the people who say that have clearly never seen a to die for, gorgeous cover and that’s that. In all seriousness, I think covers are very important but the content is important too haha. Anyway, without further ado, let’s admire those beautiful covers.
UPDATE: I read the title wrong and posted some of my favorite covers ever and not of 2019 because I’m lame haha. Hope you’ll still enjoy.
Hello everyone! This month is very exciting because so many many authors that I love are releasing books and I can’t wait to get my hands on them! Here are my picks. Also maybe I could host a bookclub and we could read them together? Let me know 🙂 xx Karla
Hello lovelies and welcome to my review for Illuminae!
I just finished reading this book and I had so many thoughts about it so here they are!
Title: Illuminae (The Illuminae files #1)
Authors: Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff
Synopsis: (Jay Kristoff’s words) Illuminae is the classic tale of Girl meets Boy, Girl loses Boy, parents and planet and ends up on a crippled spaceship with a mad computer, a deadly virus outbreak in the middle of an interstellar war. Isn’t that the coolest plotline ever?
Published: on October 20th, 2015 by Knopf Books for Young Readers
Read: from December 05 to 10, 2016 (I actually read 400 out of the 600 pages on the 10th, so I finished it on that day). It can easily be read in one-sitting
5/5 stars (One of the best books I’ve read so far!!)
