Long time no see! With the lockdown and confinement, I have a lot of time on my hands and I hope I’ll be able to be more active here. Yesterday I finished reading Winter by Marissa Meyer and it is the perfect opportunity to review the whole series!
If there is one thing you have to know about me is that I am a sucker for fairytale retellings; I would only read them if I could! This is why I loved this series so much. It was so well executed, smart, modern and even had a futuristic side to it. If you haven’t read this series, I highly recommend you do! And there are gorgeous new covers out so you should definitely check them out.
May you accomplish everything you want, may you have health, success, love (in any form) and read wonderful books!
I think 2019 was my favourite reading year yet. I have read books that have truly shaken me to my core, made me laugh and cry, made me wish the story never ended and for that I am grateful. I am going to share my list and explain in a few words why I loved them.
Just like the month of August, my summer holidays are coming to an end, and I’m going back to school tomorrow. I thought it would be fun to recap everything I liked, read and watched this summer! Here it goes:
Blurb from Goodreads: “Cinder trying to break out of prison—even though if she succeeds, she’ll be the Commonwealth’s most wanted fugitive. Halfway around the world, Scarlet Benoit’s grandmother is missing. When Scarlet encounters Wolf, a street fighter who may have information as to her grandmother’s whereabouts, she is loath to trust this stranger, but is inexplicably drawn to him, and he to her. As Scarlet and Wolf unravel one mystery, they encounter anothefr when they meet Cinder. Now, all of them must stay one step ahead of the vicious Lunar Queen Levana, who will do anything for the handsome Prince Kai to become her husband, her king, her prisoner. “
