Hello there!
My name is Karla (she/her), I’m a twin, an INFJ, a crybaby and French (not that being french has anything to do with my crying… or does it?). I scarcely review books in French so I apologize in advance for any Grammar mistakes, though I try to avoid them as much as I can.
I happily read anything YA ( contemporary, fantasy, romance…) except horror. I’m slowly making my way into New Adult books and I don’t mind Middle Grade.
My favourite trope is the enemies-to-lovers trope and I’m a sucker for any (fairytale) retelling. I’m also a lover of musicals, TV shows and movies. I also think I’m the reincarnation of the Queen of the Underworld herself, Persephone. No joke.
A perfect day for me consists of being snuggled up in a cozy blanket, with a good book and a cup of tea on a rainy day.
I’m also a Black woman and afro-descendant and I consider myself as an #ownvoices reviewer. I happily review books written by Black queer people and especially people who identify as women.
